On the 5th January 2006 at the conference in Warsaw our partner school from Poland was given the first prize in Polish eTwinning competition. The representatives of The Young Reporters team presented the project to the Polish Jury and other participants of the competition.

Just before Christmas we were informed that our schools had been nominated to the eTwinning Prizes in School Collaboration category and the coordinators were invited to the conference in Austria.
At the European conference which was held in Linz from 13th to15 th January 2006 The Young Reporters Project won the second prize in this European Competition.
It was a big success for our schools. At the conference we had the possibility to prepare the stand for the exhibition. It was decorated with posters and photos illustrating our project and cooperation. At the conference the coordinators of the project Zuzana Christozova and Anna Sosnowka had a chance to talk with other participants of the conference and exchange their ideas on conducting projects in eTwinning.
On 14th of January during the Workshop – eTwinning in Practice, they presented The Young Reporters Project and answered the teachers’ questions concerning the cooperation and the process of creating our electronic magazine.
We are grateful for appreciating our efforts and we are sure that it will constitute a considerable encouragement in our everyday work.
